About us

The Nepali Himalayas represent nature on its most colossal scale, anchoring the highest mountain range on planet Earth. This massive wall of rock and ice contains eight of the world's fourteen tallest peaks, each soaring well past the death-zone threshold of 8,000 meters. Towering above them all is Mount Everest (Sagarmatha), the absolute highest point on the planet, which stands at a staggering 8,848.86 meters (29,031.7 feet) above sea level.
